3D Environments
For my 30 second advert I decided that the background would be based in the desert, this relates to Salvador Dali desert painting which inspired me with the melting face, another reason why I felt the desert background would be good is because the desert is hot and through using the desert this would work with my 30 second advert. Creating the basic background through Maya researching desert background I used hyper shade to insert the selected image which gave it the desert effect. Through using different tool I was able to transform the plat plain background into something that looks more like a desert. I used similar methods to create the river, but through creating the trees, rocks, and hills moulding and shrinking was how I created them.
Animation in play (screen shot)
3D Animation
Created two animation using Dali and Gaudi this involved me exploring Maya a lot more to insure I get the result that I want. When I first discovered Maya I felt there was no way I would understand what I was doing, I felt very much under pursuer which made me wanting to give up because this was something I have never done before. As time went on I got the hang of key selecting and using the time line, I was then able to make my work animate.
Motion Graphics & Compositing
Creating text in Maya is one of the most straight forward things I’ve done. In this animation I wanted to do something different with the text explore more about the type of thing I can do with Maya, instead of using and image to be added effect on top of the text I decided that by using a basic colours and adding effect this could be just as effective. Through doing this I felt this animation stood out to me more with the contrast of the colours and the image that was used in the background.
Completed with animation and lighting my work is now playable, just using 'Dali' as the only word that animate I wanted this animation to be as simple and not so complicated I did not what to have to many thing happening at once, then again on the other hand if I was as confident as I am now the outcome result would be a lot stronger, therefore If I was to do this task again using Maya I would animate the elephant in the painting making the animation more effective and realistic. Through the proceed of getting my work to what it is now I felt this was one of the hardest task to do, i.e. rendering and converting my work into combustion I had to do this on several different occasion and through that I struggled. As time went on I slowly caught up.

Graphics for Interactive Media
Web Banners
250x250 -This is my first design out of the 3 different web banners that we were asked to do, for my first web banner it would be a cartoon based Animated Salvador Dali. For all three designs I wanted them to be different from each other but on the other hand these banners had to be easy for the audiences to understand and would not be complicated for them. I decided that this banner would be children based; the bright out standing colours would titillate the audiences and the cartoon Salvador Dali illustrative to the audience that this would target kids. I chose the size for the next banner at 240x400 it’s always good to get different sizes for the banner as its good to change up the style keeping the audience in tuned, by creating these banners I learnt how to add effect to the pictures, colour and contrast, for this banner I fell this could be best featured in new paper website promoting art work done by Dali, when doing this poster I learned how to target the audience through just using the colours and images.

Production Management Project
Over all throughout the project I don't believe I manage the project as well as I would have like to, I felt within myself there is a lot of improvements I could have done, the first step to this should have been not losing my USB with all my work on it, this set me back a great deal which meant I had to catch up with the work I had done before. The lack on energy of doing the same thing over again stressed and annoyed me, as the weeks went by the work started to catch up with me which meant I would fail the course. I over came this by doing as much work as I could at home and college and after a which I gradually got back on track, to makes sure this does not happen to me again I will insure my work is backup at all times to avoid anything like this happening to me again.

The Persistence of Memory
After researching I decided that the Artist that appeals to me more was Salvador Dali, I felt inspired by the work that he had done and felt this was a good chance for me to explore the different type of art. I like the melting idea from the painting Persistence of Memory because this was unusual strange and artistic, I felt this was a good way of me pushing myself and to learn and do something that I’ve never done before, My idea was to take the melting idea and use it to Salvador Dali as and animated peace that will be done using Maya. As a development idea I took pictures of myself and through Photoshop I was able to deform my face which gave it a similar melting effect. I learned Development ideas for Salvador Dali melting faces, this shows different sides of the Dali face being melted, drawing similar faces but changing them this helped me to learn how to develop my drawing skills and knowledge to me show understanding.
Dali
Dali was a skilled draftsman, best known for the striking and bizarre images in his surrealist work. His painterly skills are often attributed to the influence of Renaissance masters. His best-known work, The Persistence of Memory, was completed in 1931. Dali’s expansive artistic repertoire includes film, sculpture, and photography, in collaboration with a range of artists.
Gaudi
Architect and designer, Antoni Gaudi is the most internationally prestigious figure in Spanish architecture.
Born in Reus, in Catalonia, he graduated in Barcelona in 1878 and this city became the centre of his activities. One important aspect is his capacity as designer.
This led him to create, in close collaboration with some of the very fine artisans of his time, all those elements making up architectural space - wrought iron, furniture, stained glass, sculptural work, mosaics, ceramics and so on - within an organic concept of decoration and with the integration of these elements into the construction process.

Throughout my blog I will be sharing information on the work I have done an created within my assessments on the following, (BBC Ident ,Salvador Dali & Antonio Gaudi ) exploring different software such as Photoshop, Maya and Flash these software allowed me to developing my ideas and creation skills.
